Macarena Campbell is a dance artist based in Santiago de Chile, interested in collaborative and cross disciplinary projects; developing corporality, movement and image for the development of hybrid creations questioning the body and its limits. She works as performer in various independent dance projects, as academic in the Dance Department of the Universidad de Chile, co-directs Plantar (management platform for training spaces for dance professionals) and is part of the Red de Trabajadoraes de las Danzas organization conformed by women and dissidents dance professionals. In recent years she has been supported by FONDART (Chilean National Fund for the Arts) for the creations of the works “Cartón: Constelaciones Migrantes” (2021-2022), “Fasma” (2018-2019) and for the educational research project “Explora” (2020-2021).
