Mark Lorimer

Freelance Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher & Rehearsal Director

Since graduating in London in 1991 Mark has worked as a dancer, rehearsal director, teacher and choreographer.  He has worked with Rosas/Anne-Teresa De Keersmaeker on and off since 1994, ZOO/Thomas Hauert 1997 – 2005.  And then many projects with choreographers including Boris Charmatz, Deborah Hay, Jonathan Burrows, Alix Eynaudi, Marten Spangberg, Alain Buffard, Lea Anderson, Saldana & Drillet, Bock & Vincenzi and Kris Verdonck. 

He has made duets with Cynthia Loemij, Clinton Stringer and Chrysa Parkinson, a group piece for Bodhi Project SEAD and a graduation piece for the Laban Centre.  He will open the La Batie festival, Geneva next year with a group piece entitled “Canon and on and on…” for 8 dancers.

He teaches regularly at La Manufacture, Lausanne, CDC, Toulouse and PARTS, Brussels.
