Rebecca Weber, PhD, MFA, MA, RSME, RSMT, RSDE, FHEA, THE is a Lecturer in Dance Studies at the University of Auckland.
Weber serves as Director of Somanaut Dance, Co-Director of Project Trans(m)it, Associate Editor of Dance, Movement and Spiritualities, and Board Member for Carolina Dancer Wellness. Her research focuses on somatic practices, wellness, choreography and creative practice, cognition, digital technologies, and pedagogy, and has been published widely and presented internationally.
Currently, she is lead investigator for the NZ HRC-funded Aotearoa Somatic Practice and Chronic Pain Network, the University of Auckland funded “Dancing in/Dancing with the Digital,” and the ACE-funded Transforming Leadership ‘WeMove’ projects. www.somanautdance.com | www.projecttransmit.com
